Day 1: Arrival at Queen Alia International airport – Amman.  
Our representative welcomes you at Queen Alia International Airport and assists you through the formalities of immigration and customs. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Amman, where you will spend the night.
         
Day 2: Amman – Desert Castles – Shaumari – Azraq.
After breakfast, you will transfer to discover the Desert Castles, legacy of the flourishing early Islamic-Arabic civilization. They reflect an era in which the Umayyads were able to transform simple plots of desert into irrigated living areas. You will then make a safari in the nature reserve of Shaumari, rich of a wide biodiversity. You can meet there ostriches, gazelles and Oryx in their natural environment. You will spend the night in the Azraq lodge.
 
Day 3: Azraq – Ajloun.
After breakfast, you will watch birds at the Azraq wetland nature reserve. The reserve is made of several basins of water and a large marshy area, serving as a major stop station in the Euro-African birds’ migration. After lunch, transfer to visit Ajloun forest reserve, where you will hike the soap trail. You will discover a dense forest of oaks, carob and wild strawberry trees. You will also visit the Soap House, where local women make soap from natural olive oil. Dinner and overnight at a tented bungalow or a cabin inside the reserve itself.
 
Day 4: Ajloun – Mujib. 
After Breakfast, you will hike the Prophet trail in the forest of Ajloun till you reach the Mar Elias Church, rich from its beautiful mosaics. You will get a brunch meal on the way and you will get back to the reserve by bus. You will then head to the Mujib nature reserve to spend the night in a cabin.
 
Day 5: Mujib – Feynan.
After breakfast, you will hike in the Mujib reserve, following the Canyon trail. You will discover a wide variety of colorful rocks and you will walk through its river, sometimes jumping in natural pools and walking against the stream. (You will have lunch at your convenience.) In the afternoon, you will head to Wadi Feynan for a short hike during the sunset. You will have dinner and overnight at Feynan Eco Lodge.
 
Day 6: Feynan – Dana.
After breakfast, you will hike the Feynan trail, leading you to Dana. This natural reserve is characterized by its canyons and sandstone hills, with an altitude varying from 100 to 1500m. The hike today will show you the many wonders of this beautiful wilderness.
Dinner and overnight at Dana Guest House.
 
Day 7: Dana – Rummana.
After breakfast, you will have the morning to explore freely and more deeply the Dana nature reserve. (After your lunch, which can be taken on the site,) you will embark on the path of the White Dome. You will pass around the huge cliffs of Wadi Dana, located between the village of Dana and Rummana. The trek offers breathtaking views over the canyon, and it will take you through a village with terraced gardens. You will have dinner and overnight at the Rummana camp, made of fully equipped tents.
 
Day 8: Rummana – Wadi Rum.
After breakfast, follow the Rummana trail, heading to the top of the mountain of the same name. You will be delighted at the sight of the rock formations and their mushroom shapes, and by the wide variety of wild birds. You will also pass through a wonderful forest. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to “The Valley of the Moon”. Wadi Rum is the most impressive desert in the world and it gained its fame through its special link with British officer T.E. Lawrence, often referred to as “Lawrence of Arabia”. You will meet there a team of Bedouins, who will guide you during an unforgettable camel ride and who will prepare tea and traditional meals for you. At night you will settle an improvised camp in the middle of the desert, have a dinner around a wood fire and sleep under countless stars.
 
Day 9: Wadi Rum – Petra.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to spend the whole day in Petra, renowned as the most famous and the most exceptional site in Jordan. This ancient city is the legacy of the Nabateans, an Arab people settled in Jordan over 2000 years ago. It is today one of the 7 New Wonders of the World. There, you will admire the Khazneh, also called the “Treasury”, as well as the Amphitheatre, the Royal Tombs, the Monastery and many other amazing buildings carved in the rock. After this wonderful visit, you will join a Bedouin camp in Petra, where a traditional dinner will be waiting for you.
 
Day 10: Petra – Beidah – Dead Sea – Amman. 
After breakfast, you will visit the little Petra, or Beidah, then, you will transfer to have the privilege to experience the effects of a natural curiosity – the Dead Sea. Cover yourself as much as you want with its unique revitalizing black mud and let the salty water carry you. Enjoy the incredible buoyancy effect! The day will end by a transfer back to Amman, for overnight at the hotel.
 
Day 11: Amman – Departure from Queen Alia International Airport.
After breakfast, our representative will accompany you to the international airport of Amman and will assist you through the last administrative formalities for your final departure.

Payment terms
Adam Travel & Tourism will process your completed reservation form as quickly as possible, and send you an e-mailed confirmation of your selected tour along with an invoice for the program including all requested add-on services.
 

  • A down paymentof 10% is due upon confirmation to secure your booking. This down payment is non refundable if the program is cancelled by you.
  • The remaining 90% payment is due 14 days prior arrival. 
  • If you cancel your stay less than 14 days prior arrival, 75% of your total payment will be refunded to you.

General conditions
 

  • Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is the responsibility of the client. Personal accident insurance must be obtained by the client prior to starting the tour.
  • Detailed passport information:Detailed passport information must be provided on your reservation form.  Entry to Jordan requires that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date.    


Please note, clients booking a Damascus extension must be certain that their passport contains no evidence of travel to Israel.  US passport holders are required to obtain a Syrian visa from the consulate in their country of residence.

Adam Travel & Tourism is not liable for damage or loss arising from failure to supply accurate passport information.

 

  • Restricted nationalities:Some nationalities are restricted and should get a visa approval prior arrival to Jordan. In order to avoid any problem, you are requested to provide Adam Travel & Tourism with the nationality of each person traveling, at least 21 days before due arrival.
  • Program changes:  Adam Travel & Tourism reserves the right to vary or modify the described tour program as local conditions require.  Every effort will be made to assure that total content of the touring program is achieved whenever possible.  Suitable substitutions will be made in accordance with prevailing conditions. This caveat covers changes necessitated by force majeur, weather conditions and the alteration of attraction opening/closing hours.  For instance, all access to the Dead Sea area is restricted during the World Economic Forum, so touring programs would require amendment during this period.   Similarly, changes to adventure programs are necessary from time to time because of heavy rains in the canyons, creating a danger of flash flooding.  Hotel changes because of overbooking or local conditions will be made to a suitable hotel of the same or superior classification.
  • Hotels standard:  Adam Travel & Tourism regularly inspects the hotels booked for our tours, and we welcome your feedback to assist our hotel partners in maintaining their standards. 


Please note, only 3* hotels are available in Madaba.
 

  • Rooming preferences:Your rooming preferences, as indicated on your reservation form (twin, double, single, smoking/non-smoking, etc), will be conveyed to each hotel at the time your room is booked.  Adam Travel & Tourism is not responsible for hotel rooms assignments.  We make every effort to help the hotels accommodate your requests, but they are not guaranteed.
  • Hotels check-in/check-out:Generally speaking, check-in time is 15.00 hours and check-out time is 12.00 hours. If you are planning to arrive and/or depart on a middle-of-the-night flight and would like to have a room available, we suggest that you inquire about booking an extra night stay.
